About the role
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at West Texas A&M University is building a pool of qualified candidates for future part‑time teaching appointments. As a Chemistry Instructor you will deliver undergraduate chemistry courses and support student learning on campus.
Key responsibilities
- Teach one to four sections of chemistry per semester, as needed.
- Maintain office hours and provide academic assistance to students.
- Prepare course materials, labs, and assessments in alignment with department standards.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- At least 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry.
- Availability to teach on‑campus courses.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of undergraduate chemistry curricula.
- Effective classroom communication and student mentorship.
