About the role

The Ramsey Conference Center at Lanier Technical College is seeking a part‑time Audio Visual Assistant to support event production. You will work closely with the AV Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Sales Office to ensure each event runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Set up, test, and break down AV equipment and lighting for events, including nights and weekends.
Provide basic A/V support during events and assist with preventative maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate with conference center operations and assist the AV Coordinator as needed.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent with at least six months of related work experience.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 lb, climbing ladders, and working flexible hours.
Professional attitude, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

Experience with Crestron control systems.
Knowledge of livestreaming technologies.
Basic operation and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
