Partner Fellow – Center on Poverty & Inequality

About the role

The Partner Fellow will join the Georgetown Center on Poverty & Inequality’s Economic Security and Opportunity Initiative. Working under a Senior Policy Analyst, the fellow will contribute to research, policy analysis, and advocacy aimed at reducing poverty and inequality in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct policy research on legislation, regulations, and existing programs.
• Draft memos, reports, fact sheets, briefs, blog posts, op‑eds, and social‑media content.
• Organize and present at conferences, meetings, and public events.
• Engage with media, coalition partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with operational and administrative functions of the initiative.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) received or to be received in the most recent academic year.
• Coursework relevant to poverty, inequality, or public policy preferred.
• Strong commitment to the Center’s mission and excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or education in policy analysis and research.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, filtering, formulas, formatting).
