Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinary Technician

About the role

UrgentVet provides after‑hours urgent care for dogs and cats, bridging the gap between regular practice and emergency clinics. We are looking for a part‑time Veterinary Technician to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced, state‑of‑the‑art urgent care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea cases, and euthanasia procedures.
• Perform animal handling, patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Conduct phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculations.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment, and provide client education.

Required profile

• Professional, dependable, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Energetic, animal‑loving individual with excellent work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and attend on‑site shifts regularly.
