About the role

UrgentVet is seeking a Part‑Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to support fast‑paced urgent care for canine and feline patients. You will work in a state‑of‑the‑art, paperless clinic delivering high‑quality care for wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment, and provide client education on after‑care.

Required profile

  • Professional, dependable, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Energetic animal lover with excellent work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
