Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol Driver)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Roy, Utah, to support an aerospace and defense location. The role involves routine patrols, a visible presence to deter security incidents, responding to concerns and providing professional customer service. The schedule is Saturday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Sunday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeters to spot and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor and employee credentials according to site access-control requirements.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and share observations and concerns with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Required skills

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may be needed before employment depending on state and local laws.
