Part-Time Sports Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes is looking for energetic people to join as a part-time sports coach in Daphne. The role teaches children aged 2 to 12 the basics of various sports in a supportive, non-competitive environment, helping them develop a love for sports and physical activity. It is a flexible part-time position of about 15-20 hours per week, mainly on weekdays.

Key responsibilities

• Teach children ages 2 to 12 the basics of different sports
• Work in a supportive, non-competitive setting and inspire children to stay active
• Engage with children through sports

Required profile

• Available to work mornings and afternoons, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend work
• Experience working with children aged 18 months to 12 years preferred
• Reliable transportation to travel between locations
• At least 18 years old and able to pass a clean criminal background check
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and daycare staff
• Immediate availability is a plus; the role is not for seasonal workers

Required skills

• General knowledge of sports and ability to coach children

What we offer

• Starting pay of $20 per hour, rising to $30 per hour
