Part-Time Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at its Amazon warehouse in Concord, NC. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, keeps a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and supports a welcoming environment. The schedule is day time, Monday to Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns and critical situations, escalating them according to site procedures.
• Carry out regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and spot unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents and patrol activities in required reports.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
