Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver - Grocery Store

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a grocery store in Wood Village, Oregon. The unarmed patrol officer serves and safeguards clients across industries such as retail and malls, conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. The position pays $23 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors and associates by carrying out security procedures, site policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns and critical situations, following site procedures.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behaviour, hazards and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, observations and completed patrols and share relevant information with leadership.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Preferred: comfort using a computer or tablet and customer service experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
