Part-Time Registered Nurse – Wound Care

About the role

Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound‑care services in the United States, is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality care to patients in its Wound Care Centers. The RN will manage patient intake, provide direct wound‑care treatment, and coordinate discharge processes while adhering to hospital and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to wound‑care center patients, including assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Handle patient intake and discharge processes in compliance with nursing and hospital policies.
• Assist in the vein clinic after completing Healogics vein‑clinic training, when assigned.
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties and, after training, serve as hyperbaric safety director.
• May act as a case manager, developing care plans, monitoring outcomes, and advocating for patients.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical directors, and other healthcare providers to meet clinic and patient needs.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in wound care, hyperbaric therapy, or related clinical settings preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in patient intake, assessment, and discharge procedures.
• Knowledge of wound staging, measurement, and documentation standards.
• Training in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and vein‑clinic procedures (if assigned).
