Part-Time Registered Nurse – Outpatient Radiology

About the role

Mayo Clinic is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in the Outpatient Radiology department. The RN will deliver direct patient care, educate patients and families, and ensure smooth transitions across the care continuum.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
• Serve as a preceptor and provide informal and formal leadership.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and committee work.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and the health‑care team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure; TN sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
• One year of RN experience in a relevant setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
