Part-Time Receptionist – Veterinary Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organized part‑time receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Four Paws Inn veterinary clinic. You will support the care team by handling phone calls, greeting clients, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route a multi‑line phone system, schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar.
• Greet clients and pet owners, provide information and promote preventive care services.
• Maintain accurate medical records and process financial transactions such as payments and co‑pays.
• Assist with client education on wellness programs and hospital services.
• Provide a calm, compassionate presence for clients during stressful situations.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and genuine love for animals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to stay positive under pressure.
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with veterinary software (preferred).
• Proficiency in using a multi‑line phone system.
