Part-Time Program Coordinator – CSC Atlanta

About the role

The Cancer Support Community Atlanta is seeking a part‑time Program Coordinator to support program planning, administration, marketing and day‑to‑day activities. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role assists the Program Director and Physician Liaison in delivering services to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director and Hospital Liaison with marketing, program set‑up and reporting.
• Conduct personal intake assessments and guide patients to appropriate programs.
• Support program development, manage the program calendar and facilitate workshops.
• Provide outreach and presentations to clinicians and external partners.
• Serve as a substitute facilitator for support groups on an as‑needed basis.
• Offer technical assistance for virtual and hybrid sessions using Zoom and other platforms.
• Design and review reports on program trends, demographics and outreach impact.
• Represent CSC Atlanta at events and symposiums.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Work with an active LMSW or LCSW license in Georgia.
• Available 18‑20 hours per week and able to work onsite at the CSC Atlanta facility.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patient assessment ability and commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Experience using Zoom for virtual meetings.
• Familiarity with Dropbox for file sharing.
• Database management experience.
• Basic audio/visual tool operation.
