Part-Time Nuclear Radiologist

About the role

Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia is looking to add a fellowship-trained Nuclear Radiologist to its Radiology department, led by Chair Dr. Ryan Lee. The position is part-time and focuses on clinical nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Clinical practice covering nuclear medicine and molecular imaging uptake studies, cardiac nuclear medicine and neurologic nuclear medicine
• Nuclear medicine therapy, including I-131 low and high dose, preferably Y-90 microspheres and Radium-223 therapy, and theranostics
• Oncologic PET/CT, preferably cardiac and neurologic PET/CT
• Take part in multidisciplinary conferences
• Teach in the Premier Radiology Residency (26 residents) and participate in research and educational activities, including mentoring, supervising and teaching medical students and residents
• Join the academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical School of Thomas Jefferson University and the peer-learning program with QA activities

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completed accredited radiology residency
• Appropriate licenses and certifications
• Board certification by ABNM in Nuclear Medicine or ABR in Nuclear Radiology
• Participation in MOC
