Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Inpatient III) - NICU

About the role

Jefferson Health is hiring a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Inpatient III) for its NICU/Neonatology team at the Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. The NNP assists in implementing the health care plan and managing neonatal patients by performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks defined by the neonatologists.

Required profile

• Master's degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited neonatal nurse practitioner program.
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification.
• State license as a nurse practitioner; a current Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Pennsylvania license maintained by applicable certifying bodies.
• Maintenance of NRP certification.
• Experience in a Level 3 NICU attending high-risk deliveries, commensurate with the expectations of the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics.
• Ability to read medical charts and doctor's orders, and to hear normal conversation.

Employment is contingent on clinical privileges granted by the AEMC Board of Trustees and an unrestricted license to practice in Pennsylvania. The shift is rotating within the United States, and the worker sub-type is listed as regular.
