Part-Time Licensed DBT Psychologist (Telehealth, PSYPACT)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which manages the business side of the Lyra DBT program, is hiring a part-time licensed DBT psychologist to deliver dialectical behavior therapy via telehealth in the US. The program offers comprehensive DBT for adults and adolescents, with weekly individual therapy, weekly skills training groups and weekly consultation team meetings, plus 24/7 access to licensed clinicians trained in DBT skills coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual DBT, multifamily skills groups, and parenting and family sessions for adolescents and their parents
• Deliver individual DBT and DBT skills groups for adult clients as needed
• Assign DBT-relevant digital lessons, videos and assessments to clients to support learning and monitor outcomes between sessions
• Attend weekly consultation team meetings and one-on-one consultations with a DBT team lead
• Co-lead DBT skills groups with other providers and take part in ongoing training

Required profile

• PhD or PsyD in clinical, counseling or school psychology from an accredited program
• Formal didactic DBT training (e.g. Behavioral Tech, DBT Foundational or Intensive Training, DBT for Adolescents)
• At least one year of experience providing comprehensive DBT to adolescents and adults
• PSYPACT eligibility, with preference for current PSYPACT authorization
• Ability to work part-time, about 24 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Comfort working with clients at high risk, including suicidal ideation and self-injury
• Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in other states as needed

Required skills

• DBT-LBC certification preferred but not required
• Experience providing telehealth therapy is preferred but not required
• Literacy with computer and live video tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe or Skype
