Part-Time Leasing Professional – Covey Homes Jennings Place

About the role

Greystar is seeking a part‑time Leasing Professional to support Covey Homes Jennings Place, a stabilized townhome community of 237 units. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through effective leasing and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospective residents.
• Attention to detail for lease preparation and unit inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
