Part-time Lean Six Sigma Instructor

About the role

Columbus Technical College, in partnership with Georgia Workforce Solutions, seeks a qualified Lean Six Sigma professional to join as a part‑time Adjunct Instructor. You will design and deliver industry‑focused Lean Six Sigma training for business and industry partners, helping them improve operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, presentations, student guides, practical exercises, and assessments for Yellow, Green, and Black Belt courses.
• Deliver engaging training sessions onsite, at employer locations, or virtually, across daytime, evening, or weekend schedules.
• Customize training content to address specific employer operational and continuous‑improvement needs.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, simulations, and project‑based learning activities.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and training records.
• Collaborate with Workforce Solutions staff on scheduling, marketing, and program enhancements.

Required profile

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Minimum five years of experience leading Lean Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement initiatives in manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, government, or related sectors.
• Proven experience developing curriculum and instructional materials.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using virtual learning platforms.
