Part-Time Forklift Operator – Wichita, KS

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator to join its Wichita, KS service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers. The position offers flexible Monday‑Friday shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Move various types of freight safely within the dock area.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Verify loads against manifests and update computer systems as required.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Experience operating a forklift in a fast‑paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work varied shifts.
• Basic reading skills to interpret manifests and computer displays.
