Part-Time Forklift Operator – Night Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM) at its China Grove, NC service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
• Handle freight safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to read manifests and interact with computer displays.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or LTL setting.
