About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Casual Loader to work night shifts at its Fontana, CA service center. This part‑time position involves operating a forklift to move freight safely in and out of trailers during overnight hours.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Handle freight according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records by reading manifests and interacting with computer displays.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume LTL setting.
