About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator to work at its Fort Pierce, FL service center. The role involves safely moving freight in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock during early-morning shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Handle freight safely while adhering to company safety procedures.
- Read and follow manifests and computer displays to ensure accurate shipment handling.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a fast-paced LTL setting.
Required skills
- Forklift operation.

- Hourly wage of $22.66.
- One week of vacation after 90 days.
