Full-Time Diesel Mechanic – $32‑$38/hr

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at Fort Pierce, FL Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for day‑to‑day equipment maintenance, performing preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers and potentially forklifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers and forklifts.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates and dollies.
• Perform welding tasks as required depending on location.

Required profile

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ability to handle major diesel engine repairs.
• Experience with air‑conditioning and electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb and have own tools.
• Preferred 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
