Part-Time Field Service Technician – Murfreesboro, TN

About the role

Envirogen is seeking a part‑time Field Service Technician to work on‑site at a customer location in Murfreesboro, TN. The position starts on June 8 and runs on a temporary basis, with an expected commitment through February 2027 or at least 6‑8 weeks. You will work 2‑3 days per week, typically Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday‑Wednesday‑Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and document water samples for laboratory analysis.
• Ensure samples are uncontaminated, correctly labelled, and safely transported.
• Support the customer‑site team with water‑treatment operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, including HAZWOPER and confined‑space protocols.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in industrial or domestic wastewater treatment (preferred).
• HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certification (training provided).
• Courses in wastewater treatment are desirable.
• Basic arithmetic skills and effective verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
