Parking Services Specialist

About the role

The Parking Services Specialist provides front‑line customer service and operational support for campus parking facilities. Working on the University of Arkansas campus, you will assist students, faculty, staff and visitors with parking inquiries, permit processing and enforcement of parking policies.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at parking service locations.
• Process parking permits, payments and renewals using campus systems.
• Enforce parking regulations and issue citations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle entries, permits and violations.
• Coordinate with campus security and facilities teams to resolve parking issues.
• Perform routine inspections of parking areas and report maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and payment processing.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
