Parking Attendant (Non-Driving) – Part-Time

About the role
We are seeking friendly, reliable individuals to join our team as non‑driving Parking Attendants at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The position is part‑time, with morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts, and offers a fast‑paced environment serving event‑goers and daily visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Guide patrons to available parking spaces and provide directions.
- Issue parking tickets, record required information, and process exception transactions such as lost or grace‑period tickets.
- Complete daily shift paperwork, including counts of transactions, vehicle movements, contract parkers, and validated tickets.
- Maintain a professional appearance, greet customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and thank them upon exit.
- Perform minor cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by local management.
- Assist with special projects assigned by location management.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability for morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
- One year or more of customer‑service experience is a plus.
