Paralegal – Legal Support for Healthcare Law Firm

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, detail‑oriented Paralegal to partner with our attorneys in delivering top‑quality legal support for long‑term care providers. The role involves managing documents, coordinating filings, investigating records, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, mortgages, verifications, and authorizations.
• Investigate facts and public records to support case strategy.
• File documents with courts and administrative bodies, including electronic filing systems.
• Maintain proactive follow‑up on appeals, pleadings, verifications, and agency requests.
• Manage attorney and shared office calendars, providing deadline reminders and tracking.
• Communicate regularly with courts, agencies, clients, and internal teams.
• Create and maintain organized virtual document files with proper indexing.
• Draft legal correspondence and handle administrative tasks.
