Palo Alto Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Palo Alto Network Security Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas on an onsite contract basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Palo Alto firewall solutions to protect our network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto NGFW devices and Panorama management platform.
• Develop and enforce security policies, NAT and QoS rules, and VPN routing configurations.
• Monitor firewall performance, conduct optimization, and perform hardware/software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot security incidents, resolve issues, and provide incident response support.
• Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless integration of security controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on network security experience.
• Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and PAN‑OS.
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX on a contract schedule.
