Packaging Procurement Specialist

About the role

Ancient Crunch Inc. is seeking a full‑time Packaging Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, sizing, purchasing and delivery of packaging materials for its MASA Chips production. The role is based onsite at the Hackettstown facility and reports to the Vendor Relations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Plan material needs using sales forecasts and SKU mix, maintain live inventory models and communicate requirements to vendors.
• Place orders, monitor lead times, and ensure timely delivery of primary and secondary packaging materials.
• Negotiate pricing, review contracts and identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Support production by replenishing inventory, coordinating with the warehouse and acting as a backup for material tracking.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, resolve any issues with suppliers, and maintain artwork and spec databases.

Required profile

• 3+ years of procurement or vendor management experience in flexible packaging for a CPG manufacturer or packaging supplier.
• Experience with graphic‑designed packaging (pouches, bags, printed boxes) is mandatory.
• Ability to commute to Hackettstown, NJ and work onsite in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and authorized to work in the U.S.
