Packaging Machine Operator – 12hr Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Machine Operator to work a 12‑hour day shift in West Henrietta, NY. You will be responsible for picking silver stock from the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), staging orders on packaging machines, and supporting continuous‑flow production for CooperVision’s contact lens packaging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Pick silver stock from the ASRS and rack it to fulfill packaging (PKG) customer orders.
• Retrieve, verify, and stage all materials required for scheduled orders according to the Tableau production run plan.
• Coordinate with inventory control, production teams, and the master production scheduler to ensure material availability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, FDA regulations, and internal SOPs/WIs.
• Perform routine material checks, report discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts.
• Support PKG operations by running packaging machines when needed and working extended hours or overtime as required.

Required profile

• Understanding of SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical production schedules and run plans (e.g., Tableau).
• Effective communication with all levels of management and across departments.
• Strong numerical, verbal, and literacy skills.
