Overnight Stocking Manager

About the role

Meijer is hiring an Overnight Stocking Manager in Goshen. The role covers the overnight shift and involves managing the team, supporting staff development and ensuring safe, compliant store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with team members in span of care so they receive onboarding, training, coaching and feedback.
• Identify talent, hold career discussions and build a diverse pipeline for team member and leadership roles.
• Hold candid conversations to uphold Meijer standards and support team member growth.
• Own area operations and financial results, including shrink, productivity, safety, scheduling and staffing forecasts, and budget line items in the P&L.
• Drive safety and compliance, condition management and adherence to compliance procedures.
• Ensure Team Leaders and Leads assign daily work and training needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to give clear, precise direction and to analyse financial and statistical information.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising.
