Overnight Stocker

About the role

Meijer is hiring an overnight stocking associate in Noblesville. The role involves stocking shelves with food products during night shifts, using the location codes on each box to place items in the right spots.

Key responsibilities

• Stock food shelves with a variety of products, pulling stock from l-carts or pallets and placing it in the correct locations.
• Pull back stock and trash to the back room and put it in the correct areas.
• Work with management to make sure the right areas are stocked in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers.
• Work night shifts.

Required profile

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfort using them.
• Process-driven, able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment and to work consistently with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes and to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus.
