Overnight Front Office Assistant Manager

About the role

The Overnight Front Office Assistant Manager leads the front desk team during night hours, acting as the manager on duty when senior managers are unavailable. This position ensures seamless guest experiences, operational integrity, and revenue performance throughout the overnight shift at a luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and schedule the Front Office and Guest Services team to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate with Sales & Catering to manage arrivals, departures, group logistics, and billing.
• Oversee room assignments and provide personalized service for VIPs, returning guests, and group clientele.
• Identify upsell opportunities and drive revenue targets, especially during high‑demand periods.
• Maintain financial integrity by supervising cash handling, billing accuracy, and end‑of‑day audit processes.
• Work a flexible overnight schedule (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent service.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a front office or hotel environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently overnight and adapt to a dynamic hospitality setting.
