About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a full‑time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join the team at OLG Abram Kaplan Memorial Hospital in the Acadiana Region of Louisiana. The role involves evaluating patients, providing treatment programs based on physician orders, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure appropriate post‑acute or home care. A sign‑on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for external candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized outpatient physical therapy treatment plans.
• Assess patient response, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate appropriate levels of care.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• No prior experience required.
