Outbound Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Outbound Logistics Coordinator to manage carrier activities on the domestic side, ensuring that supplies are distributed accurately and efficiently from pick‑up to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Verify weight and pallet count for each shipment.
• Determine the fastest and most economical transport routes across the United States.
• Source drivers offering the best cost and service.
• Coordinate Bill of Lading between service providers and shipping warehouses.
• Confirm and approve shipping invoices.
• Maintain up‑to‑date shipment information in NetSuite.
• Create reports and summaries related to shipments.
• Develop and optimise carrier relationships, negotiating contracts and securing capacity.
• Identify and resolve customer complaints promptly, implementing preventative improvements.
• Produce action plans to address performance deficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in transportation logistics or operations.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to foster positive relationships and teamwork.
• Expertise in load planning and shipment optimisation.
