OS Administrator – Windows/Linux

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OS Administrator to manage and support a large‑scale Windows and Linux environment. The role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of over 1,000 servers in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) across enterprise‑scale environments.
• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and IAM controls including RBAC and sudo models.
• Provision, configure, patch, upgrade, and decommission servers using automation and configuration‑management tools.
• Perform OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with CIS/enterprise baselines.
• Manage virtual machines on VMware and Hyper‑V, and operate AWS/Azure compute resources.
• Develop PowerShell and shell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Monitor system health, tune performance, and respond to alerts.
• Support backup/restore processes, conduct DR drills, and assist with incident response.
• Document procedures and runbooks in ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of hands‑on OS administration experience in large enterprises.
• Strong background in both Windows and Linux server platforms.
• Proven ability to work in hybrid cloud environments and manage virtualization.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to security best practices.
