Oracle Database Administrator (Remote)

About the role

MANTECH International Corporation, a provider of technology solutions to government intelligence, the Department of Defense and Federal Civilian sectors since 1968, is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Database Administrator. The position is desired within commuting distance of JBSA San Antonio; fully remote candidates will also be considered. It is a full-time, fully remote role with no security clearance required.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong expertise in Oracle development and system maintenance.
• Apply expertise in Unix scripting, shell scripting and PL/SQL programming.
• Design and develop database interfaces, including ETL processes and APIs.
• Execute data migration, data mapping and data validation across complex database environments.
• Manage and maintain database automated tasks using Control-M and cron jobs.
• Work extensively in Oracle EBS applications, with emphasis on Oracle HR and payroll modules of R12.2.4 and above.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Oracle RDBMS environments.
• Currently holds or can obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 90 days of hire.
• US citizen able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability.
• Able to stay seated 50% of the time and communicate accurately with colleagues, management and customers.

• Oracle RDBMS and Oracle EBS (HR and payroll modules R12.2.4+)
• Unix and shell scripting, PL/SQL
• ETL processes and API development (preferred)

What we offer

• Projected compensation range of $148,200 to $263,000, depending on experience, skills, location and contract wage determination.
