About the role

Valiant is seeking an Operator/Trainer to support the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Support Contract. This full‑time exempt position involves operating, maintaining and sustaining the HICON requirement while delivering familiarisation training on Mission Command workstations. The role is critical to ensuring that joint forces receive accurate and reliable training on advanced command and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Mission Command workstations and provide hands‑on training to customers, primarily using the Command Post of the Future (CPoF) computer applications.
• Maintain and sustain the HICON system, ensuring continuous operational readiness.
• Diagnose machine stoppages and error conditions not covered by existing procedures, including resetting switches and making mechanical adjustments to restore equipment functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the training environment.

Required profile

• Full‑time exempt (salary) employee.
• Ability to work with technical equipment and provide clear, practical training.
• Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a fast‑paced training environment.
