Operator I – Water/Wastewater

About the role

The Operator I is responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment systems. You will work both in the field and laboratory, ensuring product quality and process stability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, install and repair automatic and semi‑automatic equipment such as pumps, valves, mixers, chemical feed, dust collectors and odor control systems.
• Monitor control panels, PLC units, flow meters, gauges and pressure instruments; adjust valves and gates as required.
• Conduct laboratory analytical tests for product quality assurance and perform grab‑and‑go field tests to adjust chemical dosages.
• Record operating conditions, maintain shift logs and ensure conformance to process specifications.
• Diagnose basic operational problems, report malfunctions and take corrective actions according to procedures.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety policies, and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and on‑call duties.
