Operator / Crib - 1st Shift

About the role

The Operator / Crib works the first shift in Bosch's Charleston spare‑parts warehouse, supporting daily material flow and ensuring the crib runs efficiently. You will collaborate with technicians, engineers and leadership while following Bosch’s safety, quality and 5S standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and issue spare‑part orders, using PIT equipment when required.
• Receive, stock and locate incoming material in designated areas.
• Perform periodic inventory audits and follow deviation‑management processes.
• Maintain 5S organization within the crib and meet KPI targets.
• Escalate material, technical or quality concerns to the Crib FLM.
• Support additional crib tasks such as receiving processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and self‑initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of SAP transactions related to work orders, reservations and spare‑part issuance.
• Familiarity with PIT (forklift/Drexel) operation.
• Understanding of Bosch’s 5S principles.
