Operator Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

The Operator Assistant works on the day shift in our Industrial Films department, supporting the production of high‑performance plastic films. You will help keep the line running smoothly by handling material, assisting start‑up, and performing a variety of hands‑on tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Pull rolls of film from the production line
• Weigh and record film rolls
• Cut cores and move resin as needed
• Assist with line start‑up and shutdown procedures
• Operate a forklift to transport materials
• Support other projects and production duties as required

Required profile

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment
• Strong problem‑solving mindset
• Commitment to safe work behaviors
• Attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand or walk throughout the shift
