Operations Training Manager

About the role

The Operations Training Manager will lead a team that delivers onboarding and ongoing training for Cast Members at Walt Disney World. You will create a welcoming training experience, coordinate schedules, facilitate classes, and ensure on‑the‑job learning aligns with Disney’s guest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Cast Member onboarding, including training schedules, property orientation, and on‑the‑job training.
• Oversee daily delivery of job‑specific training (technical, regulatory, train‑the‑trainer, updates).
• Partner with Operations Leaders to assess training needs and design strategic learning solutions.
• Coordinate site orientations, welcome sessions, and audit facilitator performance.
• Plan and communicate regulatory, safety, recertification and ongoing training updates.
• Support property‑level trainer designation by recruiting and developing Disney Trainers.
• Promote a guest‑service‑excellence mindset in all training interactions.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives and analyze data to recommend performance enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience leading an operation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Ability to handle confidential and regulatory information discreetly.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends, variable shifts and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating environment.
