Operations Technician

About the role

The Operations Technician will support our clients in Tyler, TX by managing oil sampling programs, providing technical service, and ensuring reliable lubrication practices. This field‑based role combines hands‑on mechanical work with client consulting and training.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute sampling programs for designated accounts.
• Consult with clients on strategies to improve business performance and lubrication reliability.
• Attend customer and reliability review meetings and report findings.
• Train on‑site personnel to perform sampling, oil changes, and lubrication tasks.
• Investigate product contamination, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide recommendations for specialized storage and dispensing equipment.
• Perform electric motor greasing, oil changes, and visual inspections as assigned.
• Communicate opportunities and feedback to internal teams for market‑specific action plans.

Required profile

• MLT‑1 certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of mechanical experience with automotive or industrial machinery, valves, and pumps.
• Three years of experience with fuel and lube pumps, nozzles, and fittings.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and any site‑specific safety certifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work in outdoor, potentially hazardous environments.
