About the role
The Operations Support Administrator provides essential administrative assistance to the Operations Department of a rural electric cooperative. This role ensures service orders are processed accurately, work orders and inventory are reviewed, and members receive timely support for service requests, permits, and easements.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage service orders.
- Review work orders and inventory levels.
- Assist members with service requests, permits, and easements.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Department.
Required profile
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent oral and written communication.
- Commitment to safety and member service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; related schooling or experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- 1‑3 years of office/administration and customer service experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Basic understanding of electrical distribution equipment, system maps, and RUS accounting rules is preferred.
