Operations Manager – Upper East Side

About the role

The Operations Manager joins ALO’s store leadership team to drive efficient, customer‑ready operations on the Upper East Side. You will oversee inventory, labor planning, and daily store processes while ensuring a safe, inviting environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of core operational processes across the sales floor and back‑of‑house.
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues, partner with the Store Manager to address system or process gaps.
• Champion operational standards using business performance data to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient store.
• Manage sell‑through by ensuring accurate inventory counts and coordinating labor hours for product deliveries.
• Represent the business in meetings and conference calls, collaborating with the General Manager on budget, reporting, and quarterly planning.
• Lead the Operations team, providing coaching, performance accountability, and succession planning.
• Develop and maintain effective staff schedules in partnership with the General Manager.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to meet inventory and sales‑floor KPI targets.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
