Operations Manager

About the role

As the Operations Manager you will oversee daily warehouse activities, lead a team of staff and drive process improvements to meet company objectives and customer expectations. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain seamless workflow and communication.
• Monitor inventory levels, control stock movements and ensure compliance with inventory protocols.
• Lead, mentor and train warehouse staff, providing performance feedback and handling hiring or disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting inspections.
• Track and analyze key metrics such as client satisfaction and revenue growth to identify improvement areas.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to provide strategic guidance.
• Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives and manage vendor and supplier performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma minimum; Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience managing warehouse operations, preferably in distribution or logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems, ISO quality systems and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control techniques and logistics best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
