Operations & Maintenance Technician – New Grad Engineer

About the role

Join Anaergia’s Rialto Bioenergy Solutions facility as an Operations & Maintenance Technician. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will support the safe and efficient conversion of organic waste into renewable electricity and fertilizer, while gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge waste‑to‑energy technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment to meet key performance indicators.
• Promote and uphold a world‑class safety culture for all employees and contractors.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and governmental agencies.
• Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, work instructions and facility policies.
• Assist in monitoring budget, revenue targets and monthly P&L reporting.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with an engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, environmental or related).
• Strong interest in plant operations, renewable energy and waste‑to‑resource technologies.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Combined heat and power (CHP) engine operation and maintenance.
• Battery bank (2 MWh) management.
• General plant equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
