Operations & Logistics Director – US (Remote)

About the role

Cloetta is building a dedicated U.S. management team to create a scalable, competitive, and compliant platform for long‑term growth. As the Operations & Logistics Director for the United States, you will design, build, and lead the operational backbone that supports the company’s commercial ambitions across customers, channels, and categories.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and own the end‑to‑end U.S. operating and route‑to‑market model, covering import, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Design a scalable setup that can handle growth in volume, customers, and channels while maintaining cost discipline and service levels.
• Select, structure, and manage key partners such as 3PLs, brokers, and carriers with scalability in mind.
• Implement operating models, governance, and SOPs to enable disciplined execution without loss of control.
• Embed full U.S. regulatory compliance (FDA, FSMA, FSVP, customs) as a baseline requirement.
• Partner with central operations, supply chain, quality, and procurement to translate global standards into a fit‑for‑purpose U.S. reality.
• Anticipate future needs (volume growth, local co‑packing, new channels) and design the operational platform accordingly.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience designing and scaling logistics/operations for consumer‑goods businesses.
• Strong strategic judgment combined with hands‑on leadership capability.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. food‑related regulatory requirements (FDA, FSMA, FSVP, customs).
• Demonstrated ability to manage 3PLs, brokers, and carrier relationships.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional global and commercial teams.
