Operations / Compute Resources Specialist (Remote, Boulder Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for an Operations/Compute Resources specialist to support our IT environment. The position is contract‑based, primarily remote, with a strong preference for candidates located in or near Boulder, Colorado. You will work closely with incident and change management teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage compute resources across the organization.
• Participate in major incident response and coordinate change implementations.
• Prioritize tasks based on severity and impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT operations or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with incident and change management processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience using Windows operating system.
