Operations Associate – Warehouse & Kitchen (Smyrna)

About the role

Gopuff is seeking an Operations Associate to support its Smyrna fulfillment site. The role combines warehouse duties such as picking, packing and inventory control with occasional kitchen tasks, ensuring customers receive their orders quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch.
• Receive, unpack and verify pallets against purchase orders and invoices.
• Manage inventory, re‑shelve cancelled orders and maintain FIFO compliance.
• Keep the sales floor and facility clean, organized and safe.
• Handle waste, spoilage and food preparation following health and safety standards.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other material‑handling equipment.
• Communicate with customers regarding substitutions or out‑of‑stock items.
• Work in freezer areas and walk several flights of steps throughout the shift.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 49 lb and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with web‑based software applications, such as Google G‑Suite.
